After months of cutting and basting hexagons I decided to finally break the monotony and begin piecing my quilt top. When I began this project my I chose to go with 1 inch hexagons to make the most of my scraps, without really thinking of the sheer number of hexagons I would need to make for the quilt top. There have been many times I wished I had gone with 2 inch hexagons. Though no it is all coming together, I am so glad now that I didn’t. The effect of all the tiny hexagons is just magical even on this small panel and I’m sure it will look even better once the quilt is complete.

Looks wonderful! Can’t wait to see it finished. x
